VA6320
The VA6320 is a 1/18-inch Time-of-Flight (ToF) imaging sensor that integrates a 40×30 Single-Photon Avalanche Diode (SPAD) pixel array with a global shutter, a front-end Time-to-Digital Converter (TDC), and a depth DSP processor. Combined with a pulsed laser emitter, this sensor can generate a 40×30 depth image. It features a MIPI CSI-2 interface supporting data formats for Histogram mode and DSP mode. Via a single-lane CSI-2 interface, the sensor enables image transmission at 30 frames per second (fps) at full resolution.
Internally, the sensor incorporates a Microcontroller Unit (MCU) to implement software patches and enhance system programmability. Additionally, it integrates an illumination controller and an SPI interface, which allows configuration of the downstream Laser Diode Driver (LDD) within the ToF module and enables the sensor to directly access calibration data and firmware code stored in module memory (such as EEPROM or Flash).
