The VI4300 is a long-range, high-performance, fully integrated receiver-side laser ranging chip launched by Core Vision Microelectronics, custom-built for specialized applications including robotic vacuums, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), and drones.
Integrated within the chip are a single-photon avalanche diode (SPAD) detection array, single-photon pixel control modules, ranging circuits, algorithm/memory/interface units, and a microprocessor. Compared with traditional discrete component solutions, it boasts substantial advantages of lower power consumption and reduced costs. The product has been successfully mass-produced and deployed on a large scale across sectors such as robotic vacuums, drones, and automated guided vehicles (AGVs).
